The universe runs on numbers and since the age of 10, my life has been consumed with how those numbers can be manipulated to produce more power from the internal combustion engine. One could safely say that numbers have been and always will be my dearest friend. Where some may daydream about a weekend at the lake or that pretty girl walking down the street I am preoccupied with time intervals per degree of crank rotation plotted against fuel burn rate from the spark plug to the furthest edge of the combustion space and at what degree after top dead center a particular stroke, rod length and pin placement has maximum mechanical advantage. In the dyno room, on the flow bench or even standing in line at the DMV , these numbers are always on my mind. Let me show you how numbers can make you fly.
